A belated Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

At the Sydney Opera House on Christmas Eve!

Hello friends, family and all my lovely supporters…
So Christmas has come and gone, and December was packed full of amazing busyness. During the month of December, we had lectures on Worship, Relationships and The Fear of the Lord. I was also blessed to be able to take a few days and visit Sydney with two of my good friends. We stayed at the YWAM base located about an hour out of Sydney and explored the city for three straight days. On Christmas Eve we were able to attend Hillsong for their service- and it was amazing.

A surfer at Bondi Beach, Australia- ya know, just surfing with his shirt on...

Enjoying Bondi Beach!

God has been teaching me a lot about expectations over these past weeks. Things have been a bit hard. It was my first time being away from my family over the Holidays, and it was my nephew's first Christmas… so hard to not be there, but good at the same time.

Over New Year's, our whole team drove 16 hours to Airlie Beach for an outreach week with two other YWAM bases, and I'll catch you up on all that (plus some photos from that trip) next time I have a change to pop in!

Again, thank you all so much for your support. For your prayers especially, but also for your financial assistance. If anyone is at all interested in supporting me for the first time, or on a monthly basis (I'm here til May) I would GREATLY appreciate it. Living costs and outreach add up, and there are several people on my team to Japan who are still in need of most(if not all) of their funding. Please let me know  if you would be willing to give, em.ogden@gmail.com, or leave a comment here- it would be such a blessing!

I love and miss everyone, and pray you all had a blessed holiday.

-Emily
